[IPA Employee] Dear [IPA Employee], I would like to commend you on the wonderful work you have done as an on-site consultant here at [IPA Client Business Name]. You have guided our organization to a more analytical mindset, led us in identifying important cost-savings and efficiency measures, and set us on a path for continued improvement. During your tenure, I have seen a change in many of the managers – more open-mindedness, a clearer sense of their roles, and an increasing focus on their ability to contribute to both the company's and their own future growth. You were quickly able to earn the respect of everyone here, and you did remarkably well at motivating everyone to pull together and support your efforts. We faced serious challenges as a result of our cumbersome accounting system and this made it even more difficult to establish meaningful financial measures. Your perseverance made it possible for us to measure the benefits of many of the recommended improvements, from production victories including the "anti-static" air gun you found to reduce framing time with plexiglass by 75%, to establishing the cost-savings value of moving to a new ERP system. Our thanks and accolades also go out to [IPA Consultant] who joined you as an IPA IT expert. He did an excellent job of assessing the state of our hardware and software systems and gave us focused recommendations on potential ERP solutions. The project that is perhaps the most important mutual achievement has been laying the groundwork for implementing a viable and manageable incentive plan. With the team and leadership in place, and your early guidance, I am very optimistic that we can live up to your high standards and create a program that will motivate the organization to a new level of performance and morale. I have struggled in the past with how to structure an incentive plan, and even with the guidance of my accountant and another consultant, we could not piece together a viable solution that worked for the organization. You took the time to really understand our business and brought the outside expertise that we needed to establish a plan that can work for us. In the process, you have helped the company become a more open organization – financially, in terms of embracing technology to further enhance work flow, and in the way we listen to and welcome new ideas and challenges to the status quo. We will certainly miss your steady presence and constant focus on making us a better organization. We all appreciate your contributions and are thankful to know that we have you as a resource and cheerleader as we continue on the path you have laid.
